Program Objectives
AIC Campus offers Higher Education in partnership with Plymouth Marjon University, UK.The BSc (Hons) Psychological Studies program is designed to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of the diverse facets of psychology, offering both breadth and depth in the field. It aims to develop psychological literacy and foster critical thinking about human behavior through self-directed learning. Students will gain a detailed understanding of research methodologies and their applications in studying the mind, brain, behavior, and experience. The program emphasizes the importance of applied research and staying informed about current issues and developments in psychology. Additionally, it encourages the development of strong interpersonal skills, the transfer of knowledge between theoretical and practical experiences, and the cultivation of digital literacy. The program prepares students for lifelong learning, diverse career opportunities, and further study, equipping them with the transferable skills necessary for personal and professional growth in a rapidly changing world.
Program Overview
This Programme enables students to take key psychological theories and concepts and apply them to contemporary issues, applied contexts and working with people. Students engage in five of seven Level 6 modules available through the Programme. Collectively the Programme’s modules are designed to allow the student to develop depth and breadth in the study of psychology and the application of theory to understanding human behaviour in current contexts.

Pathway to Further Education and Career Opportunities
Many students may choose to enter the job market as psychology assistants, research workers, or in SEN support, police, and criminal justice roles. Upon successful completion of the Psychological Studies Programme, they will be well placed to secure positions within the health, social services, education, and private sectors. It is understood that, from these roles, many may choose to engage in additional study to further develop their skills and practice. In addition to opportunities for psychology practitioner roles, which combine work with further study, graduates will also be well-equipped to set up their own businesses or work with social enterprises, charities, and not-for-profit organizations, all without the need for additional study.
